I need to find a future career path. I will probably never make the money I made in Denver again..especially here, and not sure I want to return to that field...in fact pretty sure I don't.

Anyone ever read any of those self help life direction books i.e. "What Color is Your Parachute?" "What am I going to do with my life?" "Who moved my Cheese?" etc... any recommendations?

Going to a luncheon with a "life coach" guest speaker tomorrow. Maybe I need one of those...Ray, didn't you have a life coach at one point?

i cant remember who it was... it was either Teddy or Whale... either way, they failed me
 
Life coach lunch was lame. I would rather have either Teddy OR Whale than this lady. She had us all doing breathing exercises....not my thing.

At least Teddy could tell me not to buy points in NBA.

Oh, it was just a caregiver lunch that they have every couple of months. Sometimes they have a speaker. Today was a "life coach" that was speaking.

I asked her what the difference between a "life coach" and a traditional therapist/counselor was. Basically what I got is that therapist helps you with more deep seeded past issues and a lc is a cheerleader for your future.

Insurance will pay for therapist. It will not pay for a life coach.

I have been going out much more. Forcing myself. Going to lunch with HS friend again Thursday. I am working on getting someone for evenings for the summer.
