I suppose I was looking for a virtual facsimile of a book club. Not to say that I was looking to compare novels as I don't read nearly as many books as I would like these last few years. Moreso I was hoping to engage in thoughtful discussion about life in general. I wanted to be inspired by what I read here.

Now I'm not saying that it isn't fun posting with you guys, it just isn't something that's holding my attention as much as I had hoped. And as far as doing it better, I don't know that anything is done wrong here at all. It seems to be a tranquil forum and most everyone is enjoying themselves, and that's all that matters. You can't be all things to all people, and I'm a notoriously picky customer.

I'm not declaring my departure either, I'm just being frank about my feelings. Undoubtedly I'll still drop by daily, just post less. I'm feeling the impending approach of age 30 and want to focus more of my energies towards personal enlightenment.
 
Pete, while I have deep thoughts and love such discussions, there are times that it seems I can't get out what it is I want to say so I tend to shy away from that and go for the light and breezy. But I will talk books with you if you like. Provided we can find some in common that we have both read.
