Canada was making a few unwarranted pinches in the 2nd period with defensemen moving out of position in the offensive zone. That worried me a bit. It didn't prove costly in those instances but the risk-reward was not good and the potential for disaster was there. There is a time and place for pinching.

Hopefully it was just few random instances and not some kind of philosophy.
