I was just watching this on the news. I have some happy friends on FB. Do you think this will affect population? /raise/lower property values in the area?
Probably too soon to tell.

I have not smoked pot in a very very long time, but seems it was like $40-$80/oz at the time. or maybe that was 1/4. Idk.
 
I would imagine it's good weed. I would like to buy some good weed but it's practically impossible to do. It all seems to be that terrible, coma inducing couch locked weed that seems to trap you in your own mind. Who wants that shit.
 
Hmm. That sounds like more of an issue with you than the weed. I'm guessing the best quality weed would have the same effect.

That's what happened to me anyway. Maybe I should just speak for myself. After smoking my brains out for so long, the effects changed and it didn't matter what weed it was. Some superficial things changed; I no longer got the munchies; I no longer tended to laugh my ass off; it had less of a sleep-helping effect. But on top of that, I just got stupid and self-conscious. I couldn't concentrate. Watching a new movie or TV episode was pointless; I wouldn't take it in. I could still be stupidly happy under controlled circumstances but being out in public was really uncomfortable.

The weed didn't change as much as I changed (or my standard reaction to it or however you want to put it).
 
From my limited understanding of weed there are two main strains, indica and sativa. The indica weed is the stuff that puts you in coma and is usually given to cancer patients. The other stuff, sativa, is the stuff that after you smoke it you can't stop laughing for 30 mins and then you end up writing music or cleaning your apartment. That stuff apparently needs to be grown outdoors and for that reason is harder to come by.

Maybe somebody else here can correct me.

This was my experience after years of smoking.

I got high my first time as a 13 yr old and smoked regularly into my late 20's.
After a dozen or so years smoking pot gave me zero pleasure and was easy to give up.

I never had the same negative thoughts smoking hash as I did smoking weed.

Hashish was definitely my favourite drug.

I had access to fun weed in Montreal. The shit that our common friend gets is stupid.
