When Schenn was drafted by the Leafs he was rumoured to be an elite stay at home tough NHL defenseman , I had high hopes for him but it didn't take long to realize that other than throwing the occasional big hit he seemed to be on the ice when shitty goals were given up by the Leafs.

I've watched enough games where he was at fault for the goal against and seeing him shake his head in disbelief every fukkin time he made a mistake (which was often) was nauseating.

I was not sad to see him go. Actually glad to see him go to the Flyers. Payback for taking Bernie Parent from the Leafs in the 70's!

Schenn is your classic Leafs defenseman draft pick who was rushed into the NHL. He clearly should have been sent back when he was what 18 years old. He showed signs of being that young, tough, defensive dman that all teams need. It's too bad he's stuck on such a shitty team now. When we traded him to Philly it was the purest of NHL trades. Equal value. Not now. Thanks Paul!!!
