I'm confused here, do people in the cities hire someone to find an apartment for them? kind of like a real estate agent, but for apartments?

What's the biggest city you've been to, cammi?
what temp water you swimming in?
Who would work and pay 2.5k rent?
callgirl, seriousness here....
everytime I go to SF i hit up a place called Thanh Long.....I always get a crab and share a plate of garlic noodles with whoever I'm with. It is the best crab I have ever eaten...and the garlic noodles are awesome too....damn, I almost want to fly there to eat that
I hear a place called Crustacean is the same owner and same food but never been there
Do you mind if I ask how you got your furniture and boxes from NY to SF? I'm trying to figure out the best and cheapest way to ship/move some of my stuff from Denver. I think most stuff they say is almost cheaper to just replace if it's high weight and not sentimental (dishes etc.) If anyone else has any ideas would love to hear.
Places to eat
Zuni's Cafe, its one of my favorite cookbooks.
Coi, Flour + Water, SPQR, Spuce.
You check out Chez Panisse in Berkeley.
REDD and the French Laundry in Napa.
Oakland food scene is growing too, Commis has a top notch reputation.
You could do that in any big city.
Who the fok wants to live in the burbs.
Need to be within walking distance to work.
Why? Being a female only ensures that you will get ripped off.
I bet cali has spent around 10k in brokers fees during her tenure in NYC.
I've lived in 8 different apartments in NYC and paid $0 brokers fees.
When it comes to business and street smarts: Men>Women
Always wanted to visit SF but never have had the chance!
Just wondering, heard expensive there, CGSF do you have a job? You must have mucho savings or do you have a trust fund also? Hopefully you'll be happy there and GL with everything!
Her parents live there and are paying for everything she does.
Is she even there yet? Who would work and pay 2.5k rent? thats crazy.
I pay $850 and my place is nice. Whats so great about all these places? Food? Are we all starving all of a sudden?
At least SD I give a little bit of credit because warmer beach. Can you swim very often in San Fran?
I don't blame anyone for having a silver spoon in there mouth! I mean how many times I said i wanted to be reincarnated as Blitty! More power to those as fortunate!
Just seemed the way CGNJ/NY posted here like her whole time spent in NNJ/NYC was bout her working all the time with no social life at all and just getting by? Didn't realize she was well to do and good for her!
Maybe they end up getting ripped off, but when I've apartment shopped in SF the chicks always roll in late looking pretty and grab the first spot on the list.
I'm also not sure or even how you pay brokers fees for apartment rentals? I'm a craigslist guy and talk with owners.
If you aren't a whiny little bitch you can swim daily like the rest of us!
San Diego has way too many bros and fratguys for me. It's like an entire city based off the SF Marina, which I don't visit.
