Oksy, the only things that makes me laugh at SBR nowadays are the ratings of sponsor books, and the Sportsbook and Industry threads, priceless.

I've never played at BOL so can't comment. I play at SportingAU almost every day though and that rating is for their UK book. I was at dinner with one of their head guys this week again and we talked about that amongst other things. They know what it means but it still picks their ass understandably. Working my patootie off to get some distinctions made for books with varied skins and mgmt in different countries. At least ones that I'm familiar with. But I'm just one chick who gets paid in pts and didn't even finish grade school so you need to bear with me darling - but it will happen. Maybe you can help by sending me some feedback about Sporting and Centrebet? xo

Centrebet booted Canadian accounts and told them they are welcome at ca.sportingbet.com so thats how I ended up there.

Solid book, far more trustworthy and ethical than any Costa Rican joint.

Yeah it's all a bit dippy after Sportingbet bought Centrebet out last year. Was pretty sad as Centrebet started with nothing in Australia and really built online gaming here before spreading worldwide. Massive success story but time to sell I suppose. We're still separated here between both books though so I wonder why they merged you in Canada... maybe the volume wasn't enough to support separate entities?

But yeah, if you avoid the UK skins I think they're phenomenal. The fact that I request my cash at 11am and it's in my bank account at midnight with no fees is a big selling point. Even Pinny has an Aussie bank account so we don't pay for transfers either way. Nice not to need Moneybookers or Neteller and their shithouse fees at all.

I've never made a lot of money. I've won random large bets over the years but lost chunks too. For the first 2yrs after I had the boy I made enough to not have to touch a penny of my savings or credit cards and just live on gambling winnings + my mat leave pay. I was that 0.01% who managed to do really well when they really needed to as opposed to the majority who normally go busto when they're trying too hard. But I'm not under any illusions that it was because I knew anything. It was just one of those flukes of life that happened to come when I needed it. As of a couple of weeks ago I was up 17k this year and have made one bet since then that won me almost $300 to clear a rollover at 365. But other than tennis bets, the rest were things that I was told to bet or just fluked so it's kind of like hot money. I fully expect to lose that amount plus more next year.
