Im sure some of you have noticed that my post have not had their usual flare. I have been attempting various tactics to throw everyone off because I had a surprise so spectacular that if I didnt distract myself I would let the cat out of the bag before it was time.

Actually I intended to wait till the day after Thanksgiving to start this but that day is traditionally the single largest day of shopping and I cant afford to be blamed for the economic impact if so many hung around waiting for my surprise instead of being out in the malls across America.

Ok, first a little background.

You guys are aware of the Challenge that was such a monumental success and was made public so everyone could rejoice and reap the rewards of the bountiful amount of winning plays. You are also familiar with the fact that I created a state of mind known as FLOW. Well now for the first time anywhere I am combining the experience of a challenge with the power of FLOW.

The challenge portion will ultimately be to gain the highest possible return on our investment before Christmas. Well that is the portion of the challenge that benefits you. In reality the challenge portion is to set the bar so high on my own achievement that itll never be equaled.

The FLOW portion of the challenge is to incorporate a revolutionary betting method that will allow us to make great stride towards financial success in a very short period of time. There are other methods that could potentially yield higher returns but with those there are far and away greater risk involved.

The method.

The actual process isnt all that difficult to conceptualize. Basically its based on streaks and requires prolonged streaks. I will begin with a minimum bankroll of a mere $100. I will post one play per day when available. There may be times when we will be forced to skip a day or two due to lack of viable edge but for the most part we should see no less than 4-5 plays per week minimal.

Of that $100 bankroll we will initially wager $33 (we are rounding down to the nearest whole number cause some dont do decimals except for science) to win. Every additional wager will be for 1/3 of our current bankroll up till such time you either reach you goal or the 1/3 wager exceeds the limits your particular book allows.

As you can see in order to lose our bankroll it would require 3 consecutive losses but we more than double our bankroll with every 3 consecutive wins. If you know basic math you can quickly work out what incredible potential exist here.

The purpose.

I know how great FLOW is and I know what untapped potential lies within me. Its time I put my stamp not only on GameLive but the WORLD. FLOW and this challenge will be my legacy.

PLAY #1

LA Clippers/Portland Trail Blazers UNDER 201

$33 to win $30

aka a weekends worth of Tim Hortons double doubles for Mudcat.

BTW: Tim Horton was a Maple Leaf.

Wallaaaaaaay! Plommer is still reeling from last nights NBA debacle, that one sure does sting.
:banghead:

Would have netted $700 in profit on the night with a fukkin single point more, lost by 0.5.

Man.

take that Kelly:boo:

Is this the Kelly method? Not sure how long that Kelly guy has been around but I originated this back in 2003. That was pre-FLOW and I was just trying to make some quick Christmas money. It went really really bad though. I won my first 2 games and then lost 11 straight and eventually canned the idea. The failure haunted me till I later joined SBR and went to my program system which has since failed as well.

most certainly NOT the kelly method.

your % of bankroll is almost 10x bigger than people that would be using a full kelly criterion method for figuring out % of bankroll.

I trust in the FLOW though!

I see that you've put a lot of thought into this. I would recommend that you discuss this with Justin's Hungarian mathematician. Perhaps, you could elaborate on how three losses in a row would eliminate your bankroll if you're betting 1/3 of your bankroll at a time.

Starting bankroll: $100.

Play 1: $33.33. Remaining bankroll: $67.67
Play 2: $22.22. Remaining bankroll: $44.44
Play 3: $14.81. Remaining bankroll: $29.63
Play 4: $9.88. Remaining bankroll: $19.75
Play 5: $6.58. Remaining bankroll: $13.17

Soooooo

Sorry if I am asking a question you already answered but maybe I missed something.

Okay - you are wagering 1/3 of the bankroll every time. $33. I assume you mean 1/3 of the starting bankroll because if you keep wagering a 1/3 of what you have, you obviously never bust - but you have indicated that a 3 bet losing streak busts you. So you must mean starting bankroll.

Okay. So do you bet $33 forever or do you increase it at points as the bankroll skyrockets - and start betting 1/3 of larger amounts?

Or what?

Okay just reread a bit and noticed this.

Every additional wager will be for 1/3 of our current bankroll up till such time you either reach you goal or the 1/3 wager exceeds the limits your particular book allows.

1/3 of current bankroll. So you can never bust out - but you could end up playing with some very small wagers. Or is the $33 a minimum?

Or what?

I didn't clearly explain losing because for FLOW purposes we try to not think in negative terms. When you lose your bankroll automatically freezes and you have 3 wagers of equal amounts to get back on a winning streak or you go bust. You are only adhering to the 1/3 of the bankroll on winning streaks.

Like baseball, FLOW allows you 3 strikes and your out.

Example:

Wager #1: 33-30 if win then bankroll is now 130. So next wager will be 42 to win 37 (rounding down here) if you win your bankroll is now at 167.

Wager #1: 33-30 if a loss then bankroll is 67 and you again wager 33 to win 30.

At any point you encounter a loss you wager 1/3 of the bankroll at the time of the loss 3 consecutive times or until you win again.

Well good luck. I cannot possibly see this going as well as the last challenge. 3 is a very tiny streak. Those will happen to the most successful of us. Routinely.

I'm sure you had many 3 game losing streaks in your other challenge - where you would have busted out with these gimmicky rules - yet you were able to soldier on and kick butt.

No harm in it anyway. Have fun.
