Yeah ok.

CFB is just a warmup to Sunday NFL.

Yeah there are plenty that feel that way FW. Unfortunately it's because they just don't appreciate the game in it's purest state.

Ok so I'm kidding. NFL is ok but I will actually change or cancel a golf game on a Saturday if there is a truly great game scheduled. I would never do that for an NFL game other than the Super Bowl.

Wal it depends on what cable/satellite service you have.

I'm on a dish and already get alot of the network games, if I wanted I could subscribe to a sports package and get more college games.

It's tough to be interested in the games though, 90% of the time I haven't heard of the school before and have no clue where they are located.

Couldn't name a single player or coach in US college football.

Lumberjacks are a whole nuther story, we know all the lumberjacks.

I'd bet you more Canadians watch soccer than college football on Saturdays.

In Ontario and Quebec yes, not so sure about western Canada.

Plommer, it's not worth learning them all. Just subscribe to SEC games, learn those teams and live long and happy.
Wal CFB is hard to watch, I've tried.
Too many mistakes and waay too much grandstanding and chest beating.
Plommer prefers watching sports where players are more modest.

I'll stick to hockey.

Some of the midwest CFB games are unwatchable because of play/marching bands. I'm getting about 2 extra CFB games a week now with hockey lockout bringing total to about 8 I could watch a week. I have about 10 NFL games a week as well available. Lots of MLS, CFL, random EPL games thrown into mix with occasional italy/spanish league games at weird times. I can't stand watching CFL though.

Hockey lockout is just :bag:

I get a more college football here than I would prefer. Most times I see a US college football game on I will roll my eyes and regard it with the same interest I might regard an infomercial for blenders.

Sometimes there are 2 and 3 games on at a time. This was before I got my new TV package. No idea how many games I might get now if I hunted up the dial.

The main problem with college football to my way of thinking is that the vast majority of games have no bearing on the title. If there is a game between two teams where the most either can aspire to is a #9 ranking (or whatever) I don't see the point.

I mean like, it's nice that the kids are having a fun game and everything but I've got better things to do with my time.
