That's what I said when they were favorite against Phoenix. I hope you're right though, hate the fucking Kings.

I mean, I wouldn't mind if they were beating teams with brilliant passes and creative play. But I don't see what makes them so dominant. Maybe they're less beat up or bigger :dunno: Anyway this kind of bs is typical of the playoffs.
 
Have to root for the Kings! You know what's funny is I heard on the radio the other day that the parade for the Devils previously when winning the cup goes through the arena parking lot! Think bout it, the Meadowlands area has no city or even town so where do you parade through? NJ (the state as a whole) blows! :yes:

vegasdave has been going nutso for the last month...cracking me the fuck up with all the homer stuff on fb :lol: scored himself some tix to the first game in LA and is the happiest man on the planet right now (playoff beard and all) ... i am scared to think of what the kid might do if the kings lose the series... could be life threatening :yes:
 
I don't know what to make of it. The Kings have totally come alive during the playoffs in a way that makes no sense.

I guess I am pulling for NJ since Brodeur backstopped the Gold Medal in '02. But I'm sure that wouldn't make sense if I really analyzed it. I'm sure there are a bunch of guys on both teams who have played for and against various Team Canadas.

My gut is telling me L.A.

When the Ducks won in 07' the parade was in arena parking lot as well.

Pretty funny when I compare to the Giants parade I recently went to.
 
One thing I heard about LAK was that since they had been fighting for 8th spot in the west for about 6 weeks before the playoffs started, they basically got into playoff mode before everyone else... This series will go 6 or 7 games and will likely be low scoring wins for New Jersey and possibly a couple PL victories for LAK.... Who wins is anyone's guess... Too close to call... They play similar styles of hockey and I would have to give the goaltending advantage to LAK... Quick is probably a better goalie than Brodeur at this moment..

If I had to pick, I would say LAK in 6 or 7 games... You have to remember that LA has not lost a road game yet this playoff season, a feat never before accomplished in the NHL

If they lose, I'm sure that there will be somebody other than the Kings to blame.
