pucky I liked mine, had 2, it was good for browsing the forum without having to sit in front of the computer, read the news, browsing etc didn't really care for apps, only had a few, music id one, f1 app, a little boat game where you guide the ships to the docking area and each time they come faster and faster forgot the name now

gave them away, no buyer remorse just i usually end up giving everything away, android phone gave away, samsung led gaveaway, life in a suitcase pucky

just get one man, stop thinking about it so much

They pitched it to me at a BestBuy store. It looks like an an oversized smart phone and an undersized ipad. It's basically in no man's land.

The one that I'm talking about was bigger than the iPad 2 - not sure about the iPad 3. The problem is the comparison sites I found were kind of skewed. They'd have the Galaxy beating the iPad 2 but then of course the new iPad has come out so it doesn't make much sense to compare the two any more when one's released a new model and the other hasn't. Bloody hard to figure this stuff out. I can see why people just stick with what they know.

I have a cheap Android tablet, not a Samsung though. It works fine. :dunno:

I was going to get the new iPad but I heard that Asus was coming out with an HD version of the Transformer Prime that morphs into a laptop when you get the keyboard dock thingie. I'm going to get that instead.

If I had to buy a tablet, it would be the Transformer Prime. No question.

I have to say, as an "appliance", iOS is the shit. Everything is so goddamn intuitive.

You say intuitive. I say restrictive.

There's a reason that most power users have to crack (jailbreak) the iOS. Apple has full control over any type of content you put on there. And the cat and mouse between Apple and the jailbreakers is beyond pathetic.

With the Androids, you have the power to access your content like a normal hard drive.

Apple products are, overall, a solution for the inept. Any type of power user generally prefers devices from other companies for a variety of reasons.

Please engage me in a computer debate. This should be entertaining.

I'm sure online computer debates are VERY entertaining for computer geeks. For me on the other hand not so much.

I use computers to check sports scores and check airfares. I definitely fall into the inept category. Personally, I'd rather play with my children, play guitar or go mountain biking than stare at a laptop. But different strokes for different folks I guess.
