As of March 7th users based in the US will no longer be able to upgrade or renew to SBR Pro using a sportsbook sponsor. Users who wish to use a sportsbook sponsor to go Pro must have their application in by midnight, Costa Rica time, on March 6th. Afterwards, it will no longer be offered as an option to upgrade or renew to SBR Pro.

SBR will add a dozen more options to upgrade and renew to Pro exclusively for US based users in the coming days.

In coordination with this policy change SBR will extend every current Pro who has an SBR Pro expiration date of February 29th until December 31, 2012 by one year.

Examples; if your Pro expiration date is March 4th, 2012 it will now automatically be reset to March 4th, 2013. No action by members is required. If your Pro expiration date is October 31st, 2012 it will now be reset to October 31st, 2013. To summarize every member worldwide who has an expiration date from today until the end of the year will have their Pro membership extended by one year. There will be no notices to renew for the balance of 2012 for any current Pro member.

For those members who became Pro or renewed their membership between January 1. 2012 and February 28, 2012, your membership will not be affected. It will be up for renewal on your anniversary date in 2013.

SBR regrets the policy change but feels its necessary due to the expanding interpretations of laws by both the US federal government and the states at a time of ongoing movements to legalize poker and other forms of online gaming by individual states.

Highly unlikely that it's because of problems moving money. Probably more of a friendly cease and desist order or something along those lines.

I tried to send $100
to a friend in the us the other day via mg at a cvs and they asked for my I'd. I didn't have it on me so I went to some Spanish grocery store instead. Said all transactions need an I'd not sure if this is mg rule, cvs or just not correct.

I've sent MG from CVS here without an ID.

I've only needed it when receiving...
