He has been awesome, and not just points wise. That Giroux/Jagr/Hartnell line has been dominant.

When you bank on old injured dudes like Jags and Pronger to get it done for you you are going to "get fucked", as Shari would say, often.

That's what we're doing right now.

What I am saying if that the groin issues and future issues is likely caused by him exerting himself more than h ewoudl have in the KHL becuase the NHL is a more faster, aggressive and skilled league. He's 39 so keeping up with the kids is going to cause problems.

I totally agree. I didn't mean I dislike your post. I dislike that it is what's happening and more so that I expect it to continue.

At least Giroux is a God now so we can still tread water without Pronger and Jags. Pronger is out today with a virus which is actually a relief that it's just that at this point.

Playoffs is an entirely different beast FW. Game/tempo is much faster than the reg season. Jagr would be killer trade bait at the deadline. If he is in and out of the lineup up until the deadline then there's a chance that Philly could flip him for picks/prospects and still be a tough contending team. Anything is possible.

boy, I find that hard to believe. I don't doubt that the players have skills, but it seems that the teams have figured out how to neutralize each others skills, so that we never see them. This season has been the worst since before the strike.

Other than that fiasco in Tampa a couple weeks back I think the NHL has been fine. I guess I'm just used to watching the speedy and surging Leafs outskate their opposition this year.

The NHL is a much faster league than the KHL so it's no suprise that Jagr is having groin issues. Too bad. The guy, if he could keep up with the young players on Philly, could have finished the season with 65 - 75 pts. I doubt he will play more than 55 games.

Common.

Pucky, just admit you were wrong and that Jaromir is the man.

Pucky, are you sad that Canadians now play third fiddle to US and European players?

Pucky, would you fellate Burke if he signed Nash to the leaves at the deadline?

Jagr has surprised me in playing so many games this season for sure.

Surely you jest!!

There's no way BB will overpay for Nash or Carter, but some teams would. Obviously, I don't see Comumbus giving Nash away to any team which is why Nash will not be moved until the draft or in the summer.
BB needs to go out and get a goalie who can stop the puck. We don't need help generating offense.
