I'd highly recommend getting them into a jiu-jistu school instead. As far as the most applicable Martial Art in real world situations, you can't beat it.

there's bound to be a few Jiu-Jitsu gyms in your area-- most offer training for small children as well.

IDK, I'm no perfect parent, not even close. I've got my hands full with both of them and other issues/emotions their going through.

I can say I was never bullied in HS, maybe I was at a younger age but nothing is burnt into my memory.
teasing and joking around with each other I dont consider bullying. its part of growing up.

In a group of kids/friends theres always gonna be 1 kid that gets teased harder than the others
I see this with my boys group of friends and when I let them stay over for the night. I discourage it but its what kids do

Ever tried Wing Tsun street fighting illy? Mix of kung-fu, wushu, jiu-jitsu and tai-chi. For the street i havent practiced thats so brutally and efficiently effective...

Like I said, it's the most effective martial art against people who have no idea how to defend it. It was specifically designed for a smaller opponent to overcome his larger foe's size.

these are the only 4 disciplines anyone should even consider training. Everything else is a distant second.
