I'm not scared of scary movies. Because the moment someones tell me you are watching a scary movie I know it's a movie and I won't get scared. It's likes someone telling you "Will you die if I shoot you with blanks?"

I remember really liking Don't Look Now with Donald Sutherland and Julie Christie. It's been a long time since I saw it though. Decades?? I'd like to see it again and see if it stands up.

Very different sort of scary movie than Halloween. I saw Halloween for the first time in the last year or so. It struck me as more of a comedy than scary.

I just downloaded Insidious.*

It's not magnificent or anything on par with these classics, but I think it's good. Certainly worth a view. No Lawrence O'Donnell though, so not as scary as it could have been.

Original Halloween and The Shining (I consider The Shining a better movie though)

What about Candyman? It was good back in the day.

I also thought "IT" was good.

Haven't seen it in awhile though, so I can't say if it stands the test of time.

lolz, the It movie was garbage. Loved the book(s) as a kid.

Really hope to see The Talisman turned into a movie one day.

I think the last time I saw it I was 9 or something. It really looks awful now though. Were there any good Steven King translations?

Seems like the movies always fall short.

Needful Things was decent. I think.
