Greatest major tournament in golf

That's one opinion. Many would agree but there are others who feel the US Open is the better major. Purest will always think of the British Open as the greatest. The courses in the British just aren't that difficult. It requires bad weather rain/wind to protect it. The US Open is always tricked up to make it one of if not the most difficult test of the season.

if Augusta had rough, it would make people give up the game... but i can honestly say from experience that between the handful of times ive played Augusta, the 7 US Open tracks and the 3 British Open tracks that i have played, nothing even compares to how fucking tough Carnoustie is... i would like to tip it out at Whistling Straits one day and see how that compares, but nothing and i mean absolutely nothing can prepare you for what Carnasty throws at you...

i fucking love the Masters...will be back there next year

I have my first round of the Mississippi Masters today at 8:40. If I am not on later I played bad and am in my rook pouting. I will then go down to the cards tables and proceed to play perfecf poker only to be felted by an overalls wearing Mississippi Mud farmer who "has a feeling". After that its headbutting time.

I got some futures... dont even remember who now
couple +10000s
couple +2500s

to win the american group
some guy besides Tiger or Mickelson at +1000

and Mickelson over Tiger at -160

Masters is the only golf I'll try to watch. it seems less painful watching

daffy, have been able to play there for 2 reasons...
one, my best friend played golf at georgia tech when i was teaching...the golf coach was able to invite me to play a few times over those 4 years (mid 90s) (the team gets to play there twice a year)
two, another really good friend (who played on the same h.s. team as my best friend) is Josh Gregory, the head coach at Augusta State...i could probably play there with them at least one day a year...
