I started to multi quote all the posts that made me lol but there were too many. Didn't want to mess the thread up.

My idea: Start smuggling high end clothing labels and makeup - the legit shit - here to me in Australia. On most things there is a 100% or more markup on price. Sure there's online shopping but women want their purchases that day. I've done this somewhat inadvertently in the past and made a killing selling stuff to friends. Seriously this is an untapped market here.

Will this be your last post here, due to your new job?

I use to buy Cigs in New Hampshire and sell them at a bar I worked at in Maine. IT was a great gig, I was making an extra hundred bucks or so a week. Then we got caught and my boss had to pay a fine. So I moved on to selling cigs and other things at hippy festivals. Could make a couple grand at these shows for doing jack shit.

how did you get caught? undercover sting operation? who exactly caught you? what was the fine? did the boss fire you? was he getting a cut?

we need a lot more of the story, it sounds interesting.

did you ever sell cigs or bottle water at a rainbow festival gathering in a PA national forest in 97 or 98?

if so. I might have bought from you. and I was naked

Archie, it was a total dive bar. The place ended up closing down. Somehow it only had a temporary liquor license, that had somehow been renewed for 20 some odd years. When it got shut down there was a long list of issues, the cigs just got included in that list. It was a great place to work as an 18 year old, I was techically a bar back, and was suppose to to do the bartendedrs bitch work. Instead I spent must of my time selling cigs, handing out parlay cards, collecting money for the local bookie, and selling weed.

man I loved that job.

Use to kick everyone out after last call, and then hold private parties.
