After a year of painstaking frame-by-frame analysis of a 1928 movie clip, filmmaker George Clarke has only one explanation for the woman gripping a black object to her ear and talking.

She’s a time traveller. And not a human one, either.

This is interesting in a way. Not because I think there is proof of time-travel (or aliens?) but because it so clearly demonstrates an element of human behavior.

The dude sees something he can't explain, but instead of being satisfied with the fact that there are things in this world he doesn't understand, he makes up an elaborate explanation complete with miracles.

This is how religions are born.
