I really don't understand this whole deal. The guy just got TJ, which makes your arm a lot stronger than it was before. He's gonna get cut off at 160 innings...why? Is his arm gonna fall off after that? If you are a fan in DC and have lived through the Redskins and Bullets/Wizards....are you okay with them saying our ace is gonna have a seat in the heat of a pennant race because we are looking toward the future?

I would assume that the goal in the future is to get to a world series. They have that opportunity this year.

It's like a rebuilt transmission. You never know when is going to blow again. The say 160 innings for contract purposes. If they let him pitch beyond 160 innings they would have to buy huge insurance for his contract.

Cole Hamels is on the downslide and just got 144 million.....I'm pretty sure I'd give Stras whatever he wants. There are like 5 good pitchers in baseball and the rest are 4.xx era guys getting 50 mil
