An immediate thought on the first weekend's matchups.

I like Indy +6.5 against BALT on Sunday.

Cogitating on a couple others. I know Seattle was the only team to be unbeaten at home this year, but road faves over a team on a 7 game win streak?

Unbelievable defensive numbers for Seattle though. It can't be denied.

Also, 9.5 is a lot of point to give for Green Bay against Minn. Looking at the OVER 46 in that one too.

I am just saying YES to that OVER in Green Bay.

Fokking cool though, the NFL playoffs. Seems like every game every year has something interesting about it. Okay, maybe I can skip Cinci/Houston but still, GOOD PLAYOFFS!

I don't know who I favor to win the Super Bowl. There are good reasons to name a bunch of different teams.

I want to say San Fran but something about that QB situation . . . not loving it.

New England? I guess maybe. There are good reasons to name them.

Denver? Always good at home and they've got a QB.

Atlanta? They earned that #1 seed.

Green Bay? It would not be the craziest thing that ever happened.

Fokking Seattle? Look at the points allowed stat. Amazing.

As for the rest, it's not like a dark horse/wildcard never makes it through.

Dunno . . .

It probably won't happen but I would really enjoy a Cincy vs Seattle or Washington or a Denver vs a Seattle or Washington Super Bowl. Basically I don't care to see Green Bay or New England back in AGAIN. San Francisco already has a World Series this year and while I like FreeFall enough is enough.

Atlanta would be cool to see get their first ever Super Bowl ring and would be my choice if I wasn't rooting so hard for the opportunity for a rookie QB a black rookie QB to win it all. Luck is a rookie and he's good but I wanna shove the black QB thing in Plommer's face.

I guess all I'm not rooting for is Green Bay and New England if for no other reason than we need something new and fresh.

I think San Fran takes it down, most well rounded team. Tough to say though, I can't take Seattle seriously on the road and NE can hang 50 on you then squeak out a win over Jacksonville. I think I picked Denver and Green Bay at the beginning of the year, stranger things have happened. Tough year to bet the NFL.

I read that Ponder may not even start today.... not only that he has never played outside in December... nevermind at night in Green Bay with the temperature in the teens.. Green Bay is also 100% healthy... I dont think Peterson can beat Green Bay by himself this time.. Soo..

GB -8.5 &

I'm on Cincy +4.5 & a small ML bet... This is the upset of the weekend....Houston has been awful for the 2nd half of the season... Cincy can pull this off
