Man, what a weekend of games we are in store for. There are some potentially entertaining games regardless of what conference you call home.

If Miami is able to capitalize on their recent momentum the game at South Bend could really be something to see. I think Notre Dame while not a true contender is still the better team and should win but if Miami shows up prepared and the Irish slip a little bit, watches out.

Nebraska at Ohio St, well its not my cup of tea but there are those who are Big 12 fans and this should offer them a decent game to watch. I would like to see a Nebraska road victory though.

I guess the biggest test this weekend in the Pac 12 will be the Arizona at Stanford game. I dont watch a lot of Pac 12 football so I dont want to sound like I am speaking for the conference so if one of the other matchups means more please inform us.

SEC, SEC, SEC football baby and what a potentially great weekend of games we have. The 2 biggest matchups are LSU at Florida and Georgia at South Carolina, so much on the line in these 2 games. All teams are unbeaten and 3 of the 4 teams are still in the picture for National Title hopes. Ok so all 4 are potentially alive but the things that would have to fall in order for Florida to truly be in that picture are less likely than the Mayan calendar being right about the world coming to an end this December. Still though if Florida wins they stay in the hunt for the SEC East title as will the winner between Georgia and South Carolina.

FSU is on the road this week and while they are a favorite over NC State it is a road game and the Wolfpack have upset the Noles in this spot in the past. Im on record predicting the Seminoles would go unbeaten in the regular season but this is one of the hurdles that worry me a little.

West Virginia at Texas just might be one heck of an entertaining game as well. Before the season started and the experts were picking West Virginia to win the conference I was saying they couldn't beat Texas or Oklahoma but now I'm not so sure. What I am fairly sure of is that this game should be a high scoring shootout. I feel confident we aren't going to see 133 combined points this weekend but I'm pretty sure that these 2 will combine for more than 65 points.

I would never have imagined I would include these 2 teams as a Game To Watch but it certainly is a Game To Watch. UL Monroe at Middle Tennessee St has shaped up to be one heck of a game. Both teams have wins over bigger schools this season. UL Monroe beat Arkansas at Arkansas and then nearly pulled off back to back upsets as it lost to Auburn in overtime. Middle Tennessee enters this game after just hammering Georgia Tech on the road. Neither squad will be lacking momentum and both teams feature explosive threats on offense and aggressive hard-hitting defenses. This game might be a small market contest but it should be major entertaining.

Went to ESPN3 and watched that Middle Tennessee St/Georgia Tech game. Mid Tenn St really dominated the Yellow Jackets. ULM's quarterback is better but this game should still have plenty of dynamic plays throughout. I see they hung a 66.5 TOTAL on the game. That's a little higher than I hoped to see but it still has the potential for a play.

I was hoping to see a 68 to 70 TOTAL for the West Virginia/Texas game but I see it's at 74.5 so yet another game where they have hung a higher TOTAL than I would have liked. There is no doubt West Virginia will allow the points but on the road can the Mountaineers continue to short circuit the scoreboard?
