My 29 year relationship withthe Red Sox is over with. I feel we have been through so much, highs and lows, but I cant deal with these carpetbag owners anymore. I wish them well in bleeding ever last dollar out of the team and then selling with in the next few years. I cant root for a team that is in bed with Lebron.

Plus Fenway isn't fun to go to anymore. Back in the late 1990's and early 2000's when Pedro was pitching the place was great, dominican fans and flags in the crowd. Now its all corporate fucks and housewifes from Weston and Wellesley.

The only reason these owners went on a spending spree this winter was because tv ratings was down, and NESN is what makes the big bucks. They fucked up 2 years ago by not signingTeixera, they wouldn't give him an extra $10 million, but $36 million for the wife beater Julio Lugo is fine. Fuck them.

I just wrote the names of the other 29 teams on a piece of paper. I put them in a hat and pulled one out for the new team I will root for, anyway I am now a Royals fan, and just ordered a Royals hat that I will rocking soon.

Mike Moustakas will bring the team back to glory
 
I dislike the Red Sox more than the Yanks.........seems to me like Yanks fans are more true fans where as Red Sox fans I see are bandwagoners...........no data to back this up however

Obviously you are a true fan but people in the midwest should not be Red Sox fans....pick the Reds, Cards, Cubs, or White Sox, common...

The fan base of the Red Sox has changed for the worse over the past 10 years. There still many knowledablefans, but so many people have no clue. I was in a Fenway area bar a few years back when Bucholtz threw his no hitter. This lady was there with a Red Sox hat and shirt, and she couldn't understand how Bucholz had a no hitter, because the other team just hit the ball, which was a ground out to the 2nd baseman.
 
Yes, Henry and Werner bought Liverpool. And Lebron James has indeed purchased a part of us. Nothing massive, but it's pissed me off, considering there is a fan ownership group waiting to be a part of the club.

As for their tenure at the club so far, it's been good so far. They've made some good decisions, bought two fantastic players and have made some major changes in the footballing and financial side of the club. So far, it's been a good few months under them, and we as a club are looking forward to the summer, for the first time in many years, with a sense of optimism that we will be challenging in the transfer market for some good talent.

Compare and contrast that with the tenure of Tom Hicks, former owner of Dallas Stars and Texas Rangers, and George Gillett, former owner of Montreal Canadiens (iirc) who were nothing short of massive cunts and raped and pillaged the club for money, sacked an European Cup winning manager and basically set the team back by 5 years.
