honestly though, I don't know which party is worse for the poor. After all it was Clinton who signed welfare reform and a bunch of anti (legal) immigrant shit. Actually the candidates are not allowed to mention the poor, they can only mention "middle class"

Up here many people (including single childless males) collect welfare while waiting for their employment insurance claims to kick in when they are laid off from work temporarily or permanently.

Welfare is not difficult to get in Canada, I'm sure the process is much easier here than in the US.

We also have less fatal robberies of $20 from 7-11 store clerks, I don't think we've ever had one.
