Free MP3's - P2P sites

What are the best safest free P2P sites? Years ago I used to use Napster (of course), BearShare and Limewaire. Are these places or applications still good to use? Any recommendations?

Totally free and secure, allows you to search and download from 4 different P2P networks. Blows everything else I've used away, and handles torrents well too.

I've tried them all, most recently Bearshare but its got where it only works when it wants to.
think its something to do with my firewall.

Just gave torrents a try using Utorrent and like it 100 times better than the P2P sites.
you can get whole librarys of artist instead of single songs here and there
