Best Actor/Actress That Did TV & Movies

I'm watching that movie "Fools Rush In" for the umpteenth time and I keep thinking Matthew Perry was an underrated comedic actor.

It got me thinking who is the best actor/actress in movies AND tv combined.

I guess Alan Alda would be on a list. Bruce Wills as well.

i think everyone on that Friends cast has made it okay in movies too... obviously, Aniston, more than the others... george clooney was on ER and some other stuff before/during movies... travolta, tom hanks, robin williams and will smith come to mind too

See I'm thinking actors who were great in TV and in movies.

Hanks in Bosom Buddies was adequate.

I left Johnny Depp off my thought process for that reason.

Clooney and Williams are good choices.

tom selleck comes to mind too...

Tom Selleck was great on TV, but his movies were mediocre.

I did like the one he did opposite Gene Simmons though.

I guess you can make a case for a bunch of SNL alumni.

Steve Carrell was great in The Office, but until his new movie comes out (which he is garnering Oscar buzz for) I can't put him in the elite category.
