hats are where it's at. the chic man or woman knows that nothing accessorizes an ensemble like the right hat.

this is me this past april in my stetson pork pie. this is my favorite hat. pork pie refers to the crease at the top of the hat, rounded edge on the crown with the look of the top of a pie. this one is not creased on the side band, with only subtle bends at front and back of the brim.

now some of you may be asking, 'but bay bud, that doesn't really look like a panama hat that carlos santana is wearing. are you sure you're not mistaken on that?" it's a common question, as opposed to a c'mon pal, who ya kidding inquiry. like i said, there are a lot of different types of panama's, something around 1,013,674,319. just don't call the hat santana is wearing a 'straw fedora.' all fedora's are felt. here are a couple of examples of felt fedora's including the coolest guy to ever wear one, rick blaine. i'm not real sure what you call the hat that ilsa lund is wearing, but it is some variation of a conventional buckram construction.

by the way, i'm trying to be a good little boy this year so that santa brings me a stetson fedora, either slate gray or black.

you pretty much have to be billy gibbons to wear this style of hat.

i have both a greek fisherman's hat and a beret, but not the military beret like the duke is sporting. it's a plain black, all-wool spanish beret that was ironically purchased on the portuguese side of the border. you have to have connections to be able to do that.
