Stream-of-consciousness leads me to recall bacon trying to control who was in his threads awhile back. While I recognized the futility, I did not berate or ridicule or regurgitate simpleton notions at him about the nature of a public forum. I understood where he was coming from. But it failed as I knew it would.

And I've seen parallel situations many times with the same results.

I don't know why that's such a hard thing. Such a straight-forward deal for me. Even a hint I'm not wanted and I'm gone and moved on. But for others it is an impossible mountain to climb.


Actually I do know why.

That's something I do sometimes: say, "I don't know why [some type of behavior] . . . " when I am quite an astute student of human behavior and I know very well. Why do I do that?

Well, I know why.

Muddster I hope you stay man really, if myself or Cami has offended you in any way we would adjust accordingly every time; I was just having a little fun here seeing what that site really goes for. We both enjoy reading you a lot and admire you. For realz. And yeah leave it up to my dumb ass to forget the basic premise behind a PUBLIC forum.

I clearly found the wrong tone for my previous post as this response is unrelated to my intention. Bad writing on my part. These things happen. No one has offended me. I'm not sure I am offendable at this point but even if I was, no one still would have offended me.



Meanwhile, according to my meat thermometer before I stuck it in the roast, it was 86 degrees in here. I had no idea.

That's crazy.
 
Fucking weird. I spend the first third of my workday in an area which apparently is always cold. At least that's what I gather from the chick I work with. I've been there damn near 6 months and there has been exactly 1 day (yesterday) where she was not bundled up under layers and a coat. All day every day - cold!

We joke about how she could just wear her pajama shirt to work because no one would ever see it.

Freezing, is a word she uses a lot. And I am right there beside her and I have no sense of it. If not for her, I would have no clue anything unusual was going on temp-wise.

So I got no idea when I'm cold and meanwhile it's 86 in here - also no clue.

Maybe something is seriously wrong with me.
