I am not on any mood pills or booze or any of that. I am dealing with life straight up.

I am a recovering addict/alcoholic so I have done as much of that stuff as anyone and more than most. But not for a long time.

I currently take a cholesterol pill and a vitamin pill every morning but I don't think those count for this discussion.

While not a drug, I am doing something pseudo scientific for health reasons. I tire myself by keeping my brainwave frequencies in the high beta range. This is good for productivity but has a host of nasty side effects. To counter this I have gone to binaural beats.

This is brainwave entrainement. You have a sine wave of sound at a certain frequency in one headphone. Another wave of a constant frequency slightly different than the other is through the other headphone. The difference is what the brain will catch and slowly migrate its brainwave frequency to it if it can. I created my own programs through Audacity, and meditate to more easily calm down.

I stay awake longer and have a better quailty of life by this meditation. While not pills, it is a type of medicating to deal with your problems

Used to have depression ( but never took meds for it as didnt Want To be dependent on them) but finding something I'm passionate about has changed that.

Loving the challenge of it all and is seriously the best medication one can take...

Necessary evil for some. I would love to get off everything.....when I went in to get off the painkillers they gave me ambien and Ativan...then someone decided in the last few years I was depressed...started the Wellbutrin...now back on the painkillers but still taking the ambien and Ativan. This is why I worried so much about drinking in Cabo.

When this part of my life is over I intend to either go on suboxone or enter a short term rehab and detox from everything. They have those 24 hour ones...they cost insane amount of money....like 10k but you bypass all the w/d symptoms.

This is why I never began that stuff to begin with IAG.

Once you begin where does it end?

Your a slave to the big pharmaceutical companies and they know it.

Remember pal it's all in your head (unless you have actual seizures. That's a different story)
