Great food Plommy. We used to go to Greektown in Chicago when we lived in Illinois. I met some Canadian Greeks from Toronto during the World Cup in 94 when Greece was playing. They drove all the way from Toronto for the game. Wish we had better Greek food here in Atlanta. You probably eat better Greek food than me out.

I would agree, Toronto has a large Greek population and in the Greek neighborhood along the Danforth there are dozens of Greek restaurants. Also most of the home made hamburger and chicken joints that aren't Greek restaurants are owned/operated by Greeks.

Toronto is a great city for food. Especially authentic cuisine from other parts of the world.

I live across the street from a Greek Orthodox church here in Windsor, and they have a couple of music and food festivals during the summer.

Nothing more disgusting then to see someone eat at a bar....a bar-bar not a sports bar where you have your own table with friends and eat off the menu but if you are eating at the bar especially wings or nachos it is disgusting to look at......

Popcorn or pretzels fine but anything outside of a snack needs to be eaten at a table not the bar
 
a fine cheese plate and charcuterie with duck mousse or pate. I also like caviar. Smoked salmon with capers on mini toasts (usually with a spread). I enjoy a good antipasta as well. Steak tartar, tuna tartar, And I LOVE oysters.
