This is the one I got:

Atomizers last ~4 weeks, according to the site. Batteries are good for 300 charges if I remember correctly (and unless you're using it continually, you're generally not going to go through more than one battery per day). To get free shipping I added an extra atomizer.

You get x5 cartridges when you buy the starter kit, of differing nicotine strengths but you'll go through these in no time (they are supposed to be comparable to 10 regular cigarettes). You can buy them filled with the liquid or just buy empty ones and fill them yourself and keep recycling - I think I bought 3 of the x5 empty packs.

And if you buy the blanks, you need the liquid. You can buy VG or PG or a mix of the two (I've no idea of the difference) and I got 5 bottles of the green apple. It doesn't taste like apple but the vapour smells like apple. I got the X-high mix so I'd have to puff less and it's obviously better value.

Also 10% coupon here:

Total was ~$85 for the lot for 3+ months worth, take off $25 for the batteries which should last a long time and it's around $60.

The cons posted by Monkey I agree with. You need to puff more than a regular cigarette and the nicotine does irritate your throat to some extent, but nothing major.

Been smoking a lot lately, I'm thinking about getting one of these things..

I just learned that I stopped smoking for no reason - I had declared myself a smoker when I signed up for group insurance at this job, and I assumed that I was paying higher premiums because of that. One smoke-free year later, HR chick tells me that the insurance company doesn't care either way.

$10-11 for a pack of Gauloises here.
