it was broken, i took it samsung they wanted to replace the screen. this happened at first. it broke and then went back to normal, but that was only for a few hours. now it broke for 2 months and now is normal. i'm gonna throw it off the deck, should definitely be broken then.
 
There's typically a ribbon cable that connects your display to the video card. If you can open it up, try reseating the cable.

You might have a hardware issue (with the display, ribbon cable, or video card), but there's also a chance that it's just a faulty connection.
 
Yea i thought it could be something like that and opened it up, but I couldnt find anything. I hadn't been inside a computer in 15 years.

I assume they would have done that at samsung if they could. Then again these assholes here will rip you off anyway they can. They said it was the display, and wanted~$400 for a new one. But if it can display properly like it is now that can't be the case then can it? I mean wtf.

There is something else seriously wrong with this computer anyway. When it starts up if I don't enter the windows pw within 30 seconds the keyboard locks after hitting the first key. It also starts lagging at times, and I can't find any software issue that should cause that. Now I have no idea what I am going to do. If I ship it back and it looks like this they arent going to do anything, and I will have to buy a new laptop in the meantime so I have something to come back here with.
 
For part of today I was dealing with an issue involving 7/64" cotter pins. I am working with the engineering dept on a database cleanup and there were repeated issues today with 7/64" cotter pins.

I have come to the conclusion that cotter pins needing to be differentiated by the 64th of an inch, is indisputable evidence that the world has gotten out of hand.

sounds like a crazy customer I was called in to finish a job on.
prior trim guy got fired cause some of door jambs had a small gap at the floor.
I was called in to tear every door out of the house and install new doors on the builders insurances dime.
we set all doors, they checked them, said we did a great job.... then 2 weeks later she isnt happy cause she can slide a piece of paper under couple of the door jambs:facepalm:
took everything I had not to tell the bitch to pound sand, we dont live in a perfect world like she does...

but I fixed them and got the hell outta there
she called back for a qoute on cutting 2 new holes in woodfloor so they could move A/C vents.
told her it would be about $2K:lol: ( 1 hr job at most)
didnt hear back from them:happyface:

Well I was cleaning up errors on stuff that didn't transfer properly from the old system to a new one, and 7/64" cotter pins were one of many things that glitched and they are on several BOMs (Bills of Material) so they showed up on my report several times.

Sorry I don't have a more electrifying answer but that's it.

Anyway I kept seeing that all through the day - 7/64" cotter pins - and I just thought it was a bit much and the human race should start over.
